Chrissy Teigen Gets Panera To Change The Name Of Their Soup

Call it Chrissy Teigen's influence! Our favorite foodie and cookbook author's tweet to Good Morning America resulted in casual restaurant chain Panera changing the name of one of their soups, just for her.

Teigen responded to Good Morning America's tweet regarding their news coverage of Panera's petition for the Food and Drug Administration to tighten standards for what can be called an "egg," agreeing with Panera.

She tweeted, "Yes I agree only actual eggs should be called eggs and their broccoli cheddar soup should be called delicious cream times." Well, Panera noticed the tweet — and responded by sending the model and soon-to-be mother of two her own supply of broccoli cheddar soup labeled "Delicious Cream Times."

She tweeted a screenshot of her interaction with GMA alongside a photo of the custom-labeled soup with the caption "omg."

No, Panera will not be changing the soup's name to "Delicious Cream Times" in restaurants, but they did change it's name on their website just for Chrissy. The brand is a vocal advocate for food service quality and nutrition and is serious about serving actual eggs and not egg substitutes to its customers.
