On Labor Day, BurgerFi launched their newest menu item, the vegan Beyond Burger. BurgerFi, one of the country’s fastest-growing gourmet burger concepts, takes a giant leap into the future of plant-based protein with The Beyond Burger, launching in all 100 BurgerFi locations nationwide. Following a successful test in eight of its restaurants, BurgerFi is the first national fast-casual burger chain country to serve this meat-free, potentially revolutionary burger.
Packed with 20 grams of protein, the all-natural plant-based burger literally “bleeds” beet juice and is free of GMOs, soy, and gluten. The Beyond Burger is a generously-sized single patty, topped with pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup and American cheese (a vegan option will also be available without mayonnaise and cheese and served in a lettuce wrap).
With more Americans adopting a “flexitarian” plant based diet, BurguerFi CEO Corey Winograd is extremely excited about offering The Beyond Burger. Winograd sees their expanding vegetarian menu as their next step in “redefining the better burger space,” he told The Daily Meal.
