Share The Brain Freeze With A Frozen Sangria For 8

New York City is in the middle of an unseasonable warm snap, with temperatures reaching to nearly 90 degrees this weekend, and I am here for it. I am taking this last gasp of summer to hit up any rooftop bar or outdoor dining space still open.

Thankfully there are plenty of options still available, including Hell's Kitchen's Cantina Rooftop, which is introducing one last warm-weather cocktail just as fall arrives. The frozen sangria colada combines the best of wine, liquor, and brain freeze. Best of all, the cocktail can be ordered in a single-serving size or as a mammoth beverage big enough for eight. No one goes home without a purple tongue tonight.

The frosty, berry-topped drink was designed by the in-house mixologist Nelson Lemus. And if you're sharing your drink, you may as well order some chips and guac or ceviche to share as well.

I'm going to keep hitting up the rooftop bars until the snow closes them down. #SummerForever
