Thanksgiving Turkey Recipe
Whatever your favorite Thanksgiving dish may be, there's one thing we can all agree on: a juicy, perfectly roasted turkey is the centerpiece of the Thanksgiving table. But, with so many different ways to cook a turkey (and the added pressure of cooking a moist, flavorful bird with crispy golden skin), you need to have an amazing turkey recipe that you can rely on year after year.
A simple mixture of butter and herbs is an easy way to add lots of flavor to your roast turkey. This turkey recipe calls for butter that's been mixed with flat-leaf parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme, but you could substitute other herbs if you prefer. A few cloves of minced garlic would be delicious as well. Regardless of the flavors you choose, simply rub the herb butter over the turkey before roasting it for a flavorful, golden-brown skin.
