Blogger Spotlight: Da' Stylish Foodie

Angie Dumas began her blog Da' Stylish Foodie when a friend suggested she document her adventures dining out with family and friends. Angie has a strong passion for food and fashion, and her blog allows those close to her to follow her on her foodie journey. On trips to New York City and New Orleans, Angie makes sure to document her dining, offering her own recommendations for her readers to try should they find themselves traveling in the same cities.

As well as restaurant suggestions, Angie also features her own recipes as well as recipes that feature sponsored ingredients like Morton Salt and Bonne Maman Preserves. She is based in Louisiana and celebrates the finest Cajun and Creole cooking on her blog.

How'd you get started?
We have always dined out a lot. A girl I know suggested that I start a food blog about my food journey.

What is your philosophy of cooking or baking?
I enjoy cooking and inviting others over. I am not much of a baker but I do love desserts.

What are some of the foods you can't live without?
Desserts like cupcakes and cakes. I enjoy homemade Creole/Cajun food.

Are there foods you can't stand?
Hmm, I will try everything at least once.

What is your proudest post?
Sharing about my first time as a guest judge for a foreign TV show.

Do you have a blogging blunder?
No.

What is your most memorable comment from a reader?
Having local readers that always refer to my blog before dining out.

What do you like to listen to while in the kitchen?
Gospel Music or catching up on my TV shows.

What is the best thing about blogging?
Sharing my opinion and telling others all about the delicious food.

What is the most challenging thing about blogging?
Consistency. Also busyness when the kids have events and pushing past writers block.

How much I love music.
