Is Cameron Diaz The Next Gwyneth Paltrow?
Looks like Cameron Diaz will be giving out lifestyle advice so everyone can look exactly like her; USA Today reports that HarperCollins will be publishing a health, wellness, and lifestyle book from the There's Something About Mary actress out fall 2013.
Already, there have been comparisons to Gwyneth Paltrow's GOOP and the subsequent media annoyance, but supposedly Diaz's book will offer "inspiration for young women by writing about fitness, nutrition, and well-being." As USA Today helpfully notes, "Diaz, 40, a strikingly beautiful blond movie star, always looks in blooming health."
Past interviews have revealed that Diaz's favorite recipe involves "savory oatmeal," cooking oats with water, chicken broth, kale, leeks, shallots, and more. Scrambled egg whites are served on the side, although she's reportedly "off the fried foods."
So what can young girls get from the actress? "Diaz aims to engage and empower women and girls by showing them that with the right knowledge about their bodies, they can live happier, healthier, stronger and better," Karen Rinaldi, senior vice president of HarperCollins, said. As long as it doesn't involve a $425 cleanse, we're down.
