You Need To Eat This: Free Ice Cream

Who wants some free ice cream?

Good news, Ben and Jerry's will be here Wednesday and Thursday giving away free scoops.

And while the cone will be delicious, it will also be political.

The ice cream maker is in town (as well as in Atlanta, Denver, Philly and Washington D.C.) to support the Environmental Protection Agency's public hearing on a proposed clean power plan.

"It was our co-founder Ben who said, 'if it's melted it's ruined', and that's why we're teaming up with the Climate Reality Project to convert our ice cream trucks into mobile action stations," the company said on its website.

If you want to grab some free ice cream, they'll be here two days:

Wednesday until 8 p.m. at Market Square.

Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the William S. Moorhead Federal Building on Liberty Avenue downtown, then from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Carnegie Mellon University.
