Yanni At The Mann Center
By Molly Daly
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Yanni comes to the Mann Center August 23rd, the Greek composer's first world tour in five years.
Mann Center CEO Catherine Cahill says seeing Yanni in concert is an uplifting experience.
"Every time I see him perform, whether it's on PBS, or live, you do walk away with having felt that you've touched someone who has a spiritual center, who loves making music, who loves to share that with his audience, but has a deeper purpose on this planet. One of Yanni's great endearing values is his commitment to peace, goodwill, and understanding — he's truly an international ambassador for that. And so for him to be on the great stage at the Mann is because he wants to share what he cares about most with large audiences," Cahill explains.
