We’re still in full New Year’s resolution mode, right? If you’re like me, you’ve made some promise to yourself to eat healthier, whether or not that means dieting.
The notion of “healthy eating” can take many forms, but the most recently, I’ve been introduced to the idea of reducing the use of processed foods in my diet and cutting back on meat-centric menus. I don’t know if that refers primarily to red meats, but I’m going to work on that assumption here.
So what wines do you pair with that lighter, but still hearty winter fare? For inspiration I’ve looked south of the border to the spicy cuisines of Latin America, many of which are rather light yet well seasoned, making them satisfying to both the palate and the soul!
