Culinary Connectors dropped into Denver’s Central Bistro, which strives to highlight the best classic American recipes. They sampled a spring vegetable soup with a Parmesan broth, roasted Berkshire pork loin, and warm apple crumble.

Looky Tasty took advantage of the $5.95 lunch special at Chicago’s Melao Latin Cuisine, in North Center. You can get a grilled chicken breast, steak, or breaded chicken with rice, beans, and salad, a grilled chicken sandwich with fries, or a Caesar salad, and it looks like a steal.

Bradley Hawks over at Amuse*Bouche visited Oficina Latina in New York’s Nolita neighborhood, and took a trip down the Pan-American highway, sampling ceviche, arepas, calamari, and grilled shrimp.

Blondie and Brownie stopped into New York’s Peels for lunch, and checked out the Gobblecado, a sandwich containing smoked turkey, avocado, cotija cheese, and chile mayo.
