Foursquare Tips

  • One recent grits special featured crispy pork belly ($13) that was so much more than slow-braised swine. There were three slices of pig about the size of playing cards. Things got really interesting.
  • Best coffee in town. Get just one pancake. They make huge pancakes. It's one of my favorite spots in the world!
  • Grits rock!!!
  • Blueberry pancake. Do it!
  • Excellent food and service! Try the banana walnut pancakes and the fried egg sandwich!
  • The straws are provided unwrapped and they are put in the glass barehanded. -germaphobe
  • Grits and cornbread huevos rancheros. MMmmm

  • Menu has great variety; great food, nice atmosphere.

  • Great breakfast food. Long wait times, so be early!
  • So good for brunch. Lines are long so get there before you need to eat, but I believe you can get a drink while waiting.

  • The Universal Breakfast with Korean hanger steak is excellent.
  • Grits were the star but everything was above par. Bacon was thick and perfectly cooked. Pancakes were flavorful. Perfect eggs and tasty potato's.
  • French toast is a little on the sweeter side. Order it before your food, takes ~20
  • Eggs Benedict & The Universal. Probably the best brunch I ever had so far being in Denver && by far the best place to go for brunch. Made me really happy because my fave was the eggs Benedict
  • Best Breakfast joint in North Denver! A must try spot!
