Joanna K. Chodorowska, a personal and sports nutrition coach, says that this is her go-to recipe. She'll add a clove of garlic in the winter to boost the immune system ("usually knocks out anything I have!"), celery in the summer to hydrate, and a pear (one of fall's best ingredients) instead of an apple to change things up. "But what I have... is the base of my juicing drink," says Chodorowska. You can update this juice recipe for any season.
Add ½ zucchini or cucumber or red pepper, if desired.
Add 1 - 2 cloves of garlic for an immunity boost, if desired.
Add 1 stalk of celery, if desired. (Adding more celery will also add more liquid to the juice, which can be helpful.)
Add all ingredients to a juicer, and serve immediately.
