Malnutrition is political, and fighting it requires a multisectoral response with grassroots pressure and data to hold policymakers to account. But political will does not fall from the sky—it needs to be proactively built. According to IFPRI’s Stuart Gillespie, this is where the nutrition community now needs to focus its efforts.
