Taco Bell Testing Fiery Chicken Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco
When it comes to Doritos-flavored tacos, Taco Bell just can't seem to let it go. Their Doritos Locos Tacos, which ingeniously replaced the traditional taco shell with a giant Dorito, became the chain's most popular new release ever, and they followed up on that earlier this year by releasing one with a Cool Ranch shell. It's apparent that they're not quite finished with this concept yet, as Brand Eating is reporting that they're currently testing a Fiery Chicken Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco in Southern California.
This is the first time that they're actually changing what goes inside the shell, as both previous products came with only beef as an option. This one is filled with shredded chicken instead of ground beef, as well as a spicy chipotle sauce. The regular one also comes with lettuce and shredded cheese, and a "Supreme" adds diced tomatoes and sour cream as well.
These are currently being tested in a few select markets in Southern California, and while they're being tested they're being offered at a discounted price. The regular ones are going for $0.79 and Supremes are $0.99s, but when they get rolled out nationally they'll probably go for $1.39 and $1.69, respectively.
