This simple, spicy and mayo-free tuna melt is made to perfection with McClure's Pickle Relish. It's great for a quick snack or an easy meal after work. Try using the relish in omelettes, sandwiches or grilled foods.
1 can of tuna, drained
One 9-ounce jar of McClure’s Spicy Relish
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 slices homemade bread
Combine the tuna, relish, olive oil, and a pinch of sea salt in a medium-sized bowl.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat. When hot, add bread slice and cook on one side. Flip, then put mixture on bread, adding cheese if using, and add the other slice on top. Press sandwich down with plate, turning once, until bread is golden brown.
