Foursquare Tips

  • The newest of the 3 Smith restaurants, this one is a welcome addition to the area. We love to start with the potato chips and blue cheese fondue, followed by the lobster roll or roasted chicken salad.
  • ok the fucking mac and cheese here is actually the most ridiculous taste I can't even try to describe it, go here if you ever have the pleasure of being in the vicinity
  • S'mores dessert... OMFG
  • will never understand not seating until the whole party arrives, especially with a reservation. all patrons walk into to a crowd of lonely miserables waiting for their dates.
  • Drink this: the Sonata No. 5, made with elderflower cordial, sparkling wine, and local honey.
  • Don't show up for Sunday brunch without a reservation. Otherwise you'll end up waiting like sardines.
  • All the smiths are good. The new Lincoln square location has the best (biggest) menu. The village location is the best date scene (food) the midtown location is the best for first date drinks
  • Must.... Have.... The.... Chips.... With.... Blue.... Cheese.....
  • The shishito peepers rule
  • Food is fantastic. The baked pretzel = amazing. The Brussels sprouts are amongst the best I've had. The truffle gnocchi is amazing. Add grilled chicken on top for more protein.
  • Burger Deluxe was very tasty and juicy. It came with almost too much fries...but is that ever a bad thing?
  • Thea's desserts are AMAZING!! The sundae, the pudding...YUM!!!
  • The Smith makes a mean burger and has excellent cocktails. One of many locations in the city, but this one is perfect for grabbing a bite before catching a movie at the Lincoln Square movie theater.
  • Incredibly friendly staff. Everything here is good - I love the Sicilian baked eggs for brunch. And don't miss the kale salad!
  • Great place for a quick drink / snack before hitting the ballet (etc) across the street. And nothing says "I'm going to the ballet" like ordering a plate full of delicious MEATBALLS (do it!)
  • Pastas are great!! Cocktail are awesome. The burger is tasty, but the bun makes it hard to it because it's not soft bread is more like a chewy brioche. Anyway, if You are in good company it's awesome!
  • baked pretzel, shrimp and grits, and the smores in a jar were all outstanding. drink wise: the cucumber margarita or french 75 are worth the calorie splurge.
  • I tried the Fried Oyster, the Crispy Calamari, the Mussels and believe me, everything was AWESOME! I am glad i came here! (The service by Andy was great too)
  • Bruncher Beware: they strictly follow the NY law of no alcohol before Noon on Sundays. Kiss your mimosa or Bloody Mary goodbye!
  • Have been here a few times and haven't been disappointed yet. Things to try: tempura green beans, jalapeo cheese grits, filet, roasted chicken, shrimp and grits entree. And save room for dessert!
