Slice And Chop Like A Professional Chef With Edge Of Belgravia's Damascus Steel Knives
If you can't get inside the kitchen of a great chef, you can at least use knives exclusively designed by them. London-based Edge of Belgravia is offering a collection Damascus steel knives, apparently able to cut through the competition — pun intended. Produced with the help of avant-garde designer Christian Bird, this set (which is also available in green or black ceramic) features a beautiful wave pattern on the blade, created by the 67 layers of Japanese high carbon steel. The core of the blades are made of VG-10 steel, which is known as the "super steel" due to its hardness and durability. The set comes with a chef's knife (for chopping, slicing, mincing and dicing), the slicer (for razor quick slicing, cutting and carving of meat and fish), the Santoku knife (for chopping vegetables quickly), the paring knife (for peeling, coring and mincing), and the lightweight utility knife (for food items that are too big for the paring knife and too small for the chef's knife, like peppers and apples).
