  • We can't recommend the smothered fries highly enough. How can rib meat over crispy, hand-cut fries, topped with cheese sauce possibly disappoint?
  • We are excited to have the Shave Duck representing the STL- They will soon be featured on Food Network!
  • Mango habanero dipping sauce and chicken wings are the shizznittlebamzappa!
  • Fries Taste Test: The porky meat on Shaved Duck's smothered fries is excellent but the flavor of the actual fries got lost in all the other stuff. Also: They coulda and shoulda been a lot hotter.
  • Totally worth the wait.
  • One of my favorite places in the city. I recommend the Big Jimmy Sampler for a first time there (it's enough food for two). Don't miss out on the smothered fries or the mac 'n cheese.
  • Best ribs in St. Louis!
  • Smothered fries. So, so, so good.
  • The mac n cheese is a must!
  • Best BBQ in the Lou!
  • Great food + service!
  • Ate at The Shaved Duck. Had the meatloaf w/ mac n' cheese
  • Wait was incredibly long but very much worth it. Excellent food, tremendous service. From drinks at the bar to French pressed coffee at the end. plus maple, walnut bacon, smothered fries, duck & BBQ!!
  • The walnut and brown sugar-encrusted bacon and the slow-smoked duck breast with cherry juniper jam showcase the decadent Southern inspired menu.
  • The Walnut & Brown Sugar Bacon is awesome!!
  • Mathais is the shit. Everytime I am here I feel like Royalty. #greatservice.
  • Good food good people.
  • Amazing food! I recommend the smothered fries, brisket sandwich, and you have to get the gooey butter cake topped brownie!
  • Amazing food and atmosphere. Food smoked to perfection and side dishes that seemed if they were prepared out of your great grandmothers kitchen! 5 stars!
  • Beef Brisket Bitches!
