Shake Shack To Serve Special 'Irish Fries Are Smiling'
In celebration of Saint Patrick's Day, Shake Shack, or "Shake Patrick" as they'd like to be temporarily known, will be serving 'Irish Fries Are Smiling' — Shake Shack fries with horseradish cream and scallions, topped with crispy, all-natural applewood-smoked bacon. The limited edition fries will only be available from Friday, March 14th, until Monday, March 17th.
The "Leprechaun-approved" fries, which have shown up previously during this lucky time of year, will be available at Shake Shack locations across the United States for $4.
Shake Shack, which debuted new skinny and hand-cut fry to customers in August 2013, has felt some ire from customers who long for the crinkle-cut, frozen fries of yore. Luckily for New York City residents, Shake Shack representative recently confirmed to The Daily Meal that Shake Shack's original location in Madison Square Park will continue to serve the original crinkle-cut fries until the end of this year. In 2015, the Madison Square Park location will exclusively serve the new fries.
