Contrary to its name, which suggests a frosted sugary pastry served on special occasions, the new CAKE Nightclub in Scottsdale is anything but sweet; but you may feel just as naughty when indulging in this adult treat.
Joining its neighbors in Old Town, CAKE will be heating up the nightlife with a vintage bohemian venue reminiscent of a French chateau. When evening hits on February 22, residents and visitors will be introduced to the sexy and sophisticated club from the brainchild of accomplished nightlife and hospitality veteran, Tosh Berman, of EDL Management Group.
Through leather ropes, guests will immediately notice the immaculate DJ booth decorated with Baroque-era embellishments and 17th century European designs. Glass chandeliers, black leather booths with VIP bottle service available and sleek hardwood paneling and floors give off that chic elegance with just a little bit of naughtiness. With an innovative lighting system, the club’s interior will be immersed in exhilarating light shows to really play with up the venue’s theatrics.
Oh, and if lights aren’t doing it for you, then maybe the women of CAKE will be more your type of eye candy. Keeping the energy up, the go-go dancing girls of CAKE are dressed in seductive lingerie and work their magic on aerialist rings strewn throughout the venue. Contortionists and stilt walkers will also perform nightly and surprise performances are said to take place weekly.
CAKE Nightclub is open Friday and Saturday nights from 10:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. and is available for private events. And as for acquiring an actual cake in Scottsdale, well…haven’t we all gone gluten-free in the past year anyway? Besides, they’ll tell you themselves, they’ve found a cure for your sweet tooth.
