Tips

  • Sit at the bar and ask Jack to serve you whatever he wants. One of the best sushi dinners I have ever had! Will be back again and again!!
  • I've said it before and I'll say it again...This is the BEST omakase deal! Chef Jack Wei is the most underrated sushi chef in NYC! My favorite sushi place, no contest!
  • The omakase is one of the best in the city. Say hi to Chef Jack if you sit at the sushi bar...he will take great care of you!
  • They have the most amazing mushroom soup I've ever had. Ever. I'm not joking. What a sleeper of a restaurant. The uni is also insanely fresh and the sushi is on-point.
  • Very attentive staff. Had a large white fish variety for omakase.
  • Best tofu ever. Herbivore, omnivore, carnivore, whatever. Go try it.
  • Amazing. Yuzu roll and shrimp dragon roll were so good!
  • super fresh affordable sushi tucked away near coopers union and east village
  • The food is fresh and the staff very kind. 9+
  • Amazing sushi! Everything is so delicious.
  • Ridiculously good uni. Sit at the sushi bar and get the assorted chef's choice - worth it.
  • Best sushi I've ever had in NYC. Try the salmon rolls or the shrimp rolls.
  • Really fresh sushi. Chef specials are excellent.
  • everything is good here
  • The rock shrimp canape roll is absolutely delicious - dream worthy. This place is a hidden gem around Astor place!
  • salmon tataki is perfect. best salmon piece i had in ny.
  • Absolutely outstanding service. Ordered the spicy special at the recommendation of the server. While it wasn't spicy, it was fresher than your average roll, and tastier too :-)
  • They screwed up my order then wanted to charge $2 more to fix it. It's not even great sushi. I won't be back.
  • Get the green tea crepe for dessert!! It has 20 crepe layers in the cake and it's just the perfect end to a meal.
  • Little germ among st.marks little Tokyo. Not your average Japanese, menu is tailored to higher end / rare fish. More different options than other cheapo /pseudo Japanese.
