Tips
- So good. Will be coming back. Great place to take vegetarian and non-vegetarian friends alike. The food was innovative and excellent and the cider was fantastic. Highly recommend.
- This Lower East Side locale boasts close to 100 varieties of cider, and with dishes like leeks with spaetzle and truffle butter, the vegetarian, British-centric menu isnt to be overlooked.
- Free sparkling water on tap! (Oh and a million awesome ciders)
- Looks great! http://www.grubstreet.com/2015/02/cider-bar-lower-east-side.html
- A great new spot for Vegetarians in the City. An excellent selection of Ciders on draft too, along with a rather delicious Apple Juice on draft
- Great ciders on tap. Also try the apple juice. Order the scotch egg and jalapeo fritters. I would like to try other things on the menu
- I recommend trying the International & New England flights if you want to sample a bunch of different types of cider. The pickles are a good snack. Skip the croquettes. The beans are yummy & filling.
- Go here for the cider
- Even if you're not up on cider, the food is worth a pop in. Only got to sample the lite bites but both the mushroom dishes were solid
- Get the sourdough and the burrata. Seriously. They were disarmingly good. Cauliflower and duck egg were pretty good too, I honestly can't imagine any dish being bad.
- Huge cider menu and a friendly staff to walk you through all the options.
- Huge assortment of ciders from pretty much every region you can think of. The staff was very helpful in navigating us through their menu. Food looks very vegetarian-friendly.
- Get the farnum hill 1422. Delicious hard cider with balanced acidity.
- Can't get enough of the shadow play
- We couldn't wait to get to Wassail. The cider, the service, and the space surpassed expectations. The sourdough bread is AMAZING.
- Awesome service, awesome food - great for vegetarians
- You can relax under Tudor-style beams and pink cherry blossoms, listen to some Pretenders, and let the friendly staff guide you around the mill.
- Drinks were amazing
- Amazing selection of cider.
- Unfortunately this is essentially a wine bar. $13 for a glass of cider that is the same volume and ABV as a glass of wine. Tasty - no doubt, but probably only worth one visit.
