Tips

  • Three words... lobster mashed potatoes.
  • The Baltimore Sun ranks this restaurant one of Baltimore's Best 100 restaurants.
  • I'll take Tasting Room over Volt any day! Especially those lobster whipped potatoes
  • Best place to get the classic old school cocktails...Tom Collins is my personal choice!
  • Amazing!! Tuesday night is half bottle wine night, even the very expensive bottles. Filet was great and the cheese plate had a great selection. Yum :)
  • A waiter/waitress has never steered me wrong in a drink or food order, you won't be disappointed with staff suggestions
  • Wagyu carpaccio, porcinni tuna w/ lobster mash and The Huntsman. This is THE dining experience!
  • Absolutely fabulous!!
  • Pay attention to the fish specials; they can be amazing (hoping for John Dory). Always know the filet mignon competes with, or surpasses, any of the familiar chains (e.g., Morton's, Ruth's, The Palm).
  • Ask Jarrett for a wine selection. The outcome will be spot on.
  • Try a mixed infusion of cherry and pineapple. If you have more than 2 do not try to drive home.
  • Tasting Room Pimms Cup is made with cucumber soda. Tastes amazing!
  • The Lobster Bisque is to die for - D-Lish
  • The wine bar is great!
  • Lobster mashed potatos cannot be beat
  • The shrimp and grits were incredibly good.
  • Good crab dip and bread but a poor value overall
  • Definitely the best place in Frederick for fine dining.
  • Pretentious food and service. if you can't be a decoration in their window, prepare to be ignored.
  • Large Wine and Bar Menu with lots of options
