  • If you're intimate with your date, and one of you is driving, split a wine pairing. It amounts to about two glasses of wine per person.

  • This beloved restaurant from Curtis Stone reinvented itself in January, using wine as the inspiration for its four seasonal menus a year.
  • Chef Justin does an amazing job with each month's menu. The soup course, layered with intricate (like a hug) flavors is not to be missed.
  • Delicious food, very creative and balanced flavours, beautiful intimate space! Pretentious / condescending staff unfortunately sours the experience - but still a great spot!
  • Lovely experience! Came during the grape month and tasted some unbelievably unique dishes. Sit at the bar to see all the action, and order some tea at the end for yummy tea snacks
  • very nice family restaurant... upscale is quietly astonishing, that its centered every month around a seasonal ingredient....
  • With just 25 seats in the diminutive restaurant, Stone takes one ingredient per month and makes an entire nine-course tasting menu based on that seasonal ingredient.
  • Sit at the bar -- we had a great conversation with the (very entertaining) chefs, plus we got to watch all of the beautiful food being plated. Eating a meal at Maude is a special experience.
  • Named Best Restaurant in our Best of 2015 issue!
  • Everything
  • If you can get a seat: Maude has fast become the toughest reservation in town. And for very good reason.
  • The wine program, run by sommelier Ben Aviram, is quite delightful, and the wine-pairing option is a bargain.
  • Each month, the chef focuses on one seasonal ingredient and presents that ingredient as a nine- to 10-course tasting menu.
  • Named #1 in our 10 Best New Los Angeles Restaurants of 2014 list!
  • The best tasting menu in the city!
  • Decadent dessert! Mmm...
  • Fantastic 9-course menu focusing on a single ingredient/theme (July 2014: Berries).
