Foursquare Tips

  • Expect white tablecloths, four-star service, and elegant Gallic-German fare. That means beer soup with ham hocks, scallion kougelhopf, and foie gras & squab croustillants.
  • Fluke had zucchini blossoms stuffed with lemon and barley and then tied into a pouch.
  • for a 4-course fixed price dinner of this caliber, GK delivers on every level (especially price, which is less than what you'd think for a meal this memorable and luxurious. [>$98/pp])
  • Feels like pre-crash Manhattan all over again at Gabriel Kreuther, the namesake Alsatian joint by the chef who spent nearly a decade at The Modern slinging tarte flambes.
  • Went here for lunch and it was amazing! I had the sashimi appetizer and the duck breast entree (see pic). Both delicious. Highly recommend
  • Not very busy in the bar area for a Friday night. Wasn't too impressed by the starter which was ceviche. Beef was only OK too. Potatoes almost tasted re-heated. Wouldn't go back.
  • Tasting menu with wine pairing is a must; had the Uni special with caviar and fried oyster (pictured) to start off the tasting.... unreal
  • Fishbowl view of the kitchen
  • Best Of the restaurants in NYC that I have tried so far!
  • That bread pairing!
  • L'imagination de Gabriel Kreuther associe son savoir-faire produit des plats absolument magnifiques d'une justesse redoutable . Emilie Perrier, sommelire d'exception gre une superbe liste de vins
  • Great food !
  • My server was so sweet and steered me to all the right things; Dorade Royale: perfection to the last foam bubble.
  • Go for a special occasion and plan to spend a leisurely time tasting beautifully styled plates. Service is exceptional.
  • Roasted duck Breast was amazing
  • The diver scallops were perfect. So good.
  • This mackerel app was not the greatest. Try another item.
  • Hawaiian marlin was very different and tasty
  • Try every item you will love them.
  • The salted caramel chocolate is to die for. Order the drink, Marie Laveau, it's like an esoteric Manhattan. The beef tartare is delicious - you won't regret it!
