- 12 whole chicken wings, no tips
- 2 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoon tabañero hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoon fresh chopped cilantro
- 3 -4 cups canola oil
- 2 cup blue cheese dressing
Directions
- Before you begin, preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Heat canola oil in a heavy pot to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Add half the chicken wings to the oil and fry them until they are golden brown and fully cooked, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Remove oil and drain on paper towels. Repeat with the other half of the wings.
- In a saucepan, heat butter, honey, and garlic over medium-low heat.
- Add the Tabañero hot sauce, let it bubble up, and then turn off the heat.
- Place the wings in an ovenproof dish and pour the hot sauce over the top.
- Toss to coat, and then bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
