Steel Cut Oats With Pears, Cinnamon And Almonds Recipe

- 4 cup blue diamond vanilla almond breeze
- 1 ripe pear, peeled, cored and diced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup steel cut oats
Directions
- Bring Almond Breeze to a boil in a medium saucepan.
- Stir in oats; reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, for 25 minutes. Stir in pears, brown sugar, and cinnamon and cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes more.
- While oats are cooking, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in almonds, oats, and cinnamon; cook, stirring frequently, for a few minutes or until fragrant.
- Let cool slightly, then stir in brown sugar.
- Spoon hot oats into 2 bowls and sprinkle with oat mixture.
