California SPAM Fried Rice
Total time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (12-ounce) can spam classic, cut into cubes
  • 2 cup green beans, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
  • 4 cup chilled cooked rice
  • 3 eggs, whisked
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 pinch of salt
Directions
  1. In a wok or deep frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons oil over high heat. Add 1 finely chopped onion and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until translucent.
  2. Add 2 cloves minced garlic; stir-fry for 30 seconds longer.
  3. Add 1 can cubed SPAM Classic; cook for 3 minutes longer.
  4. Add 2 cups sliced green beans to wok; stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes or until tender.
  5. Add 4 cups cooked rice; cook, stirring, for 3 to 4 minutes longer or until heated thoroughly.
  6. Add 3 whisked eggs, 1/4 cup soy sauce and a pinch of salt; mix well. Remove from the heat and serve immediately.
