Soft Street Tacos

Sometimes less is more

The best tacos don’t require tons of components: A lightly-charred corn tortilla, seared meat, chopped onion, a little cilantro, and a squeeze of lime is usually all you need.


For the Soft Street Tacos

  • 1 Pound beef sirloin steak, cut into strips
  • 4 Corn tortillas
  • 14 Ounces salsa, such as Rojo’s Homestyle Salsa
  • 1/2 Cup white onion, chopped
  • Cilantro (optional)
  • Fresh lime juice, to garnish


For the Soft Street Tacos

Heat the oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add steak; cook and stir until lightly browned. Spoon steak onto tortillas; sprinkle with onions and cilantro; drizzle with salsa. Fold up sides of tortillas to enclose filling.
