Sage-Rubbed Turkey Breast
Total time: 2.65 hours
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon mccormick rubbed sage
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon lawry's seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon mccormick ground pepper black
  • 1 turkey breast, fresh or frozen, thawed (5 to 6 pounds)
  • 1 cup water
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix sage, seasoned salt and black pepper in small bowl.
  3. Place turkey breast on rack in foil-lined roasting pan.
  4. Spread seasoning mixture over entire surface and under skin of turkey breast.
  5. Cover loosely with foil.
  6. Roast 1 hour.
  7. Remove foil.
  8. Add water to pan.
  9. Roast 1 to 1 1/2 hours longer or until internal temperature reaches 165°F, basting occasionally with pan juices.
  10. Remove turkey breast from oven.
  11. Cover loosely with foil.
  12. Let stand 15 minutes.
  13. Transfer to platter or carving board and slice.
