Rosé Limonade

All your favorite summer drink ingredients come together to create the refreshing, sparkling cocktail

Combining sparkling rosé, homemade lemonade, and lavender simple syrup is obviously going to result in a fantastic cocktail.

Ingredients

For the fresh lemonade:

  • 1/2 Cup hot water
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 1 Cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 8 Cups cold water

For the lavender simple syrup:

  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 1 Cup water
  • 1 Tablespoon fresh lavender flowers

For the cocktail:

  • 4 Ounces fresh lemonade
  • 1/4 Ounce lavender simple syrup
  • 4 Ounces brut rosé wine
  • Fresh lemon slice, to garnish

Directions

For the fresh lemonade:

Combine hot water and sugar in a large pitcher and stir to dissolve. Once dissolved, add lemon juice and cold water. Stir until fully combined. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.

For the lavender simple syrup:

Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally until sugar is completely dissolved. When boiling, remove from the heat, add lavender, and steep for 10 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh sieve and let cool.

For the cocktail:

Fill a glass with small ice cubes. Pour in the fresh lemonade, followed by the lavender simple syrup. Once settled, fill the remainder of the glass with rosé. Garnish with a lemon slice.
