Rhythm and Blues Cocktail
Those who wait all summer for that first breath of crisp fall air know that it is impossible to start the season without an “apple, spice, and everything nice” themed cocktail.

- 1 Ounce cachaça, preferably Avuá Amburana
- 1 Ounce wheat whiskey, preferably Bernheim
- 1/4 Ounce Averna amaro
- 1/4 Ounce crème de banana, preferable Edmond Briottet
- 1/4 Ounce demerara syrup
- 2 Dashes of Angostura bitters
- Banana leaf, to garnish
Pour all the ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir to combine. Pour into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a banana leaf.
