The Red Lady
The Red Lady is made with gin, Cointreau (an orange-flavored liqueur), fresh squeezed lemon, three drops of orange bitters and muddled red bell pepper. Ingredients
- 2 ounce gin, preferably the botanist
- 1 ounce triple sec, preferably cointreau
- 1 ounce fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 red bell pepper
- 3 drops of orange bitters
Directions
- Muddle the red bell pepper in a shaker.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Shake without ice.
- Add ice.
- Shake again.
- Double strain into a coupe glass.
- Garnish with a strip of julienned red bell pepper.
