Pumpkin Pie Shake Smoothie


This recipe tastes like pumpkin pie and the spirit of autumn in a glass.

Pumpkin Seed Milk

  • 1 Cup raw pumpkin seeds, soaked in water for four hours
  • 2 1/2-3 Cups filtered water
  • 2 Teaspoons agave syrup


  • 1-1/2 Cup chilled pumpkin seed milk (see recipe above)
  • 3 Tablespoons frozen pumpkin purée
  • 1/4 Cup frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 Teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 Tablespoons chia seeds, soaked in water for 10 minutes
  • Dash of sea salt
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 Teaspoon lucuma powder
  • Honey to taste


Pumpkin Seed Milk

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for 1-2 minutes, depending on your blender, until smooth and creamy. You can strain if you wish, but you will strain out a lot of the pumpkin seeds’ nutrients. Refrigerate in a mason jar for up to three days.
