Pineapple Brown Sugar Mulled Cider

Feeling unprepared to put away your favorite summer fruits? Here’s a unique recipe that puts pineapple into the picture. Create a tropical yet soothing atmosphere and serve this drink in the early months of fall.

Ingredients

  • 2 Liters unsweetened apple cider
  • 1 Cup pineapple juice
  • 12 Ounces frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 6 cloves
  • 1/4 Cup brown sugar
  • 3 cinnamon sticks

Directions

In a 3 1/2-4 qt. slow cooker, combine apple cider, pineapple juice, orange juice, brown sugar, and spices. Mix well. Cover; cook on low 5-6 hours. Remove and discard the cinnamon and cloves. Serve hot in mugs, garnishing with orange or lemon slices.
