Pico de Gallo Recipe

This Pico de Gallo is the Real Deal

Ingredients

  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • 1/4 large white or red onion, fine dice
  • 1 (or so) garlic clove(s), fine dice
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
  • Fresh lime juice
  • 2 serrano, 1 hot jalepeno or 1/2 habenero pepper, fine dice

Directions

Chop, dice the vegetables

Combine the vegetables with the lime juice; there should be enough juice to coat everything

Rest, covered, at room temperature for at least an hour.

If there are leftovers, refrigerate for up to a week

Goes pretty well with most everything.
