Philadelphia is known for its cheesesteaks, which is why Eagles fans can grab one whenever they head to Lincoln Financial Field for a game. They call it a tailgate because it's easily created out in the parking lot, but they hope you head inside for the real thing.

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich
Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 cup velveeta cheese, melted
  • 2 pound chopped sirloin
  • 1/2 pound white onion, diced
  • 15-20 small banana peppers
  • two 9-inch seeded club rolls
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
  1. Heat ½ stick of butter in a pan with the vegetable oil. Put the chopped onions in pan and sauté for 6-7 minutes or until onions are golden brown. Keep warm when done.
  2. Heat the rest of the butter in a pan and add the meat. Cook for 5-6 minutes until meat is done and then drain the drippings. Salt and pepper to taste and remove from heat. Add the Velveeta cheese sauce to meat and mix. Add ½ pound of the steak and cheese mixture to each roll and top with the onions and 4-5 peppers.
