- 1 lime
- 1/2 Ounce aged rum, preferably Appleton Estate Reserve Blend
- 4 dashes triple sec, preferably Combier
- 1 Teaspoon (bar spoon) orgeat syrup
- 1/2 Ounce dark rum, preferably Coruba Dark Rum
- Mint, for garnish
Cut a lime disc off of a whole lime. Squeeze lime disc and rub on the inside of a rocks glass and drop in.
Add a big rock. Add all ingredients except for dark rum.
Stir cocktail about 50 to 60 times, or until the cocktail is really diluted.
Layer dark rum on top. Garnish with a mint sprig.
