Carnival Cruise Line’s master mixologists Miro Kljajic created a special, limited edition cocktail called the Mermaid Martini. This vibrant multicolored drink is garnished with a hibiscus flower that will change color as guests start to sip. Although it'll be offered on the Carnival fleet, you can also make it yourself at home. Note: The hibiscus flower will change color after couple of minutes as you sip on your Mermaid Martini due to the drink's temperature change. When the drink is cold, the hibiscus flower will turn red, orange, or yellow. As the drink temperature rises, the tropical flower will turn blue, purple, pink, or white.
- 1 1/2 Ounce Bacardi mango
- 1/2 Ounce Blue Curaçao
- 1/4 Ounce Monin Coconut syrup
- 1 Ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 Ounce pineapple juice
- Hibiscus flower (for garnish)
Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice.
Shake hard until cocktail shaker feels icy cold.
Strain through a fine sieve into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a hibiscus flower.
