Who doesn't love a crispy McDonald's hash brown from time to time? It is a delicious breakfast item that you can eat on the go. Now you can make them right at home instead of buying them.

Ingredients

  • 4 potatoes, peeled, parboiled, and grated
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/3 Cup flour
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tablespoons butter, softened
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Directions

Step 1: In a large bowl, combine four grated potatoes, 1 egg, 1/3 cup flour, salt, pepper and 2 tablespoons butter. 

Step 2: Once all of the ingredients are well mixed, make six equal-sized patties.

Step 3: Place about 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry patties for 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
