 Yogurt Irish Brownies
Ingredients
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • dash of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 6 ounce container plain greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon whiskey, preferably jameson irish whiskey
  • ½ cup stout beer, preferably guinness extra stout beer
  • 1 6 ounce container plain greek yogurt
  • i tablespoon liquer, baileys irish cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (to taste and desired consistency)
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Spray a 9-by-9 baking dish with non-stick baking spray.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl melt the chocolate chips slowly, stirring every 15—30 seconds, until smooth. Add in the sugar, cocoa powder, yogurt, egg, Jameson, and Guinness.
  3. Fold the flour, baking powder, and salt into your wet chocolate mixture.
  4. Pour the batter into the pan, spread evenly, and bake 30—45 minutes, to desired gooeyness. Remove and allow to cool.
  5. While brownies are cooling, mix the frosting ingredients until creamy.
  6. Plate brownie, add a scoop of frosting, and drizzle with chocolate sauce. Do not operate heavy machinery if consuming multiple brownies!
