Lindt Truffles Double Chocolate Chunk Waffles

Mother’s Day Brunch with Lindt Truffles (and a Decadent Truffle Waffle Recipe!)

Topped with a warm orange marmalade glaze and chopped white chocolate (or milk or dark – whatever floats your boat!)  these show stopping treats will seriously make your Mother’s day memorable.

Ingredients

For the Waffles

  • 2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs, beaten
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Cream
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Chocolate Chunks (or mini chocolate chips)
  • 1/2 Cup White Chocolate Chunks
  • 3/4 Cups Vegetable Oil
  • Orange Marmalade

Directions

For the Waffles

Preheat waffle iron.

Combine dry ingredients with a whisk.

Mix eggs, milk, cream, and vanilla in a separate bowl.

Combine wet and dry ingredients. Don’t over mix.

Fold in chocolate.

Cook in waffle iron according to manufacturer’s directions.

For the orange glaze, heat orange marmalade in a small sauce pan over low heat, and stir.The marmalade will liquefy when it’s warmed. This should only take a few minutes. If you want it thinner, you can add a little water. Plate the waffle, drizzle orange marmalade glaze over it and garnish with chopped truffles in white and milk or dark chocolate.
