Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks (or mini chocolate chips)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chunks
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • orange marmalade
Directions
  1. Preheat waffle iron.
  2. Combine dry ingredients with a whisk.
  3. Mix eggs, milk, cream, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Don’t over mix.
  5. Fold in chocolate.
  6. Cook in waffle iron according to manufacturer’s directions.
  7. For the orange glaze, heat orange marmalade in a small sauce pan over low heat, and stir. The marmalade will liquefy when it’s warmed. This should only take a few minutes. If you want it thinner, you can add a little water. Plate the waffle, drizzle orange marmalade glaze over it and garnish with chopped truffles in white and milk or dark chocolate.
