Lemon and Tangerine Glazed Carrots
  • 6 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 6 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon grated lemon peel
  • 2 tablespoon grated tangerine peel
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • chopped fresh italian parsley
  1. Combine carrots, apple juice, butter, brown sugar, lemon peel, tangerine peel, and salt in a slow-cooker. Stir to blend. Cover and cook on low for four to five hours or on high for one to three hours. Garnish with parsley.
