The Joffrey’s Poison Cocktail

Since no one can speculate what King Joffrey would do next, Joffrey’s Poison mimics its namesake’s penchants.

It's a sour styled drink, with a hint of chestnut as the underlying flavor. Port and blackberries add a deep color, egg whites round the sweet, sour, and spicy tones of the ginger and cloves.

The cocktail changes color with each successive sip, a fitting gesture to the mood swings of the House of Lannister. So here it is, for all the Game of Thrones fans out there.

This cocktail was inspired by the famed TV show Game of Thrones, mixed by bartender Adam Walsh of Dublin's pub Peruke & Periwig and put together by Flaskaholic. Originally appeared here: http://www.flaskaholic.com/game-of-thrones-cocktails/
