Jim Beam Black Hot Toddy

A recipe straight out of the classic cocktail book

Want a hot toddy this Christmas but don’t know where to start? This classic recipe is essentially a lesson in hot toddy 101, featuring bourbon, honey, and fresh lemon for a spot of brightness in these cold winter months.

  • 2 Ounces Jim Beam Black, or other extra-aged bourbon
  • 1 Ounce honey
  • 2 Ounces fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 Cup hot water
  • Lemon peel, for garnish


In a mug, mix together bourbon, honey, and lemon juice.

Top off with hot water and stir until honey is dissolved.

Garnish with a lemon peel.
