Italian Carciofi Shandy
Swap a classic shandy for this spiced, earthy, Italian-take on the cocktail.
“Since we're located in a historically Italian American neighborhood using Italian amari was a pretty on the nose inspiration. I tried to create cocktails that would be nice for the transition between summer and fall. Those cold season spices presented in a refreshing way,” says Sofia Present of August Laura cocktail bar.

- 1 1/2 Ounce Cynar
- 1 Ounce apple cider
- 1/2 Ounce cinnamon syrup
- 3/4 Ounces lemon juice
- Ginger beer, to top
- Apple slice, to garnish
Pour the Cynar, cider, cinnamon syrup, and lemon juice into a tall glass. Stir to combine. Top with ginger beer and garnish with apple slice.
