Grilled Corn With Lime Salt

Mexican street corn, a.k.a. elotes, is something that everyone should try at least once in their life. This easy riff on the classic street food has just five ingredients and a zesty lime salt that is beyond delicious.

  • 4 corn cobs
  • 4 Ounces unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 Tablespoon chipotle chilies, chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Morton Coarse Sea Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon lime zest
  • 4 Tablespoons mayonnaise


Combine Morton Coarse Sea Salt and lime zest to create lime salt.

Mix softened butter with chilies and 1 tsp. lime salt.

Brush mixture onto the corn, and grill on medium heat, rotating every 2 minutes for 6–8 minutes.

Remove corn from grill and brush again with mixture.

Smear mayonnaise on the top of each cob and sprinkle with lime salt to finish.
