Green Argentinian Chimichurri Sauce

Chimichurri Sauce
Green Chimichurri Sauce, Fresh Argentinian Salsa, Chimichurri Salsa, Fresh Salsa with Parsley, Cilantro, Oregano and Garlic

Fresh chimichurri sauce is the perfect flavor enhancer for grilled steaks but also delicious in vegetable dishes and so much more.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup packed fresh Italian parsley
  • 1/4 Cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup packed fresh cilantro
  • 2 garlic cloves peeled
  • 1/2 of a spicy fresh pepper such as serrano roughly chopped
  • 1/4 of a red bell pepper roughly chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon oregano
  • 1/4 Cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 Teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Directions

1. Add all of the ingredients (except the olive oil) to a blender and begin mixing at a medium speed. 

2. Slowly add the olive oil and blend until smooth.

3. For best results, refrigerate overnight in a sealed container.
