DAVIDsTEA

At your next backyard barbecue, make this refreshing sangria recipe using DAVIDsTEA. Be sure to mix up an extra batch, because everyone will want seconds — and maybe even thirds.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups water
  • 8 spoonfuls of DAVIDsTEA Goji Pop tea
  • 1 Cup light and fruity red wine
  • 1 Cup triple sec
  • 2 oranges, sliced into circles
  • 2 lemons, sliced into circles

Directions

Put tea and boiling water directly into a teapot or heat-resistant pitcher. Let the tea infuse until it’s cool. Leaving the tea in the mix, add wine, triple sec, lemons and oranges.

Pour over ice and serve.

Sangria Shopping Tip

Buy your booze in bulk – transfer what you need into smaller bottles to stock your bar – you’ll save money and have enough leftover for your next party.

Sangria Cooking Tip

Add another layer of flavor to your cocktails by making your own simple syrup – combine equal parts sugar and water with whatever aromatics you like – fresh herbs, whole spices, citrus, or chile peppers – heat to dissolve sugar and strain before using.
