Frank and Philip Frederick are two inimitable ice cream impresarios whose legendary reputation resulted in their being dubbed the "Godfathers of Cool." This cocktail was inspired by Frank’s penchant for a glass of something medicinal, combined with his love of ice cream, after a hard day’s graft. It’s the kind of cocktail even crime family patriarch Don Corleone couldn’t refuse.

Deliver Ingredients


  • Espresso Yourself Ice Cream (or espresso ice cream)
  • 1 Ounce Amaretto liqueur
  • 1 Ounce blended whiskey


Spoon the ice cream into an ice cube tray and place in the freezer for an hour, or until hardened.

Empty the cubes into a tumbler, add the Amaretto and whiskey, then stir and enjoy.

Light up a Montecristo cigar, recline in your beaten-up leather wing-back chair, and stir the cocktail, slowly watching the ice cream melt into the alcohol.
